What are those BBC idiots thinking? Or not. Point of View was a, ahem, fixed Point in my week whether it was your voice making the Point or someone else equally, or nearly equally, erudite. Hardly any Point in listening now, is there? I shall miss you, dear Howard, and shall complain loudly to the aforementioned BBC idiots.

How depressing! Only last week I was recommending it to my daughter to add to her podcast listens and it’s ending! Hope someone creates a replacement where all you ‘leading thinkers’ can keep recording your ‘personal essays’ as the announcer calls them.

“JD Shvantz”. Good one! But I prefer “JD Vontz.”

The first is a useful appendage. The second is an annoying pest.

What a shame, though not surprising coming from the BBC decision makers!!! Every week, just like the Queen I tell my husband to keep quiet so we don't miss a word you so eloquently utter. Shame, shame and more shame on the BBC! We shall sorely miss you!

So sad to hear POV will be no longer - my husband waits every week to see if it will be you delivering it

Thankyou. Very sad PoV is going, but happy to have heard your essays on it.
