From what I saw in that interview between Trump & Co and Zelenski, it looked like Trump and his minions were scared of Zelenski who's a much more courageous leader and person as well as a fighter. In typical bully style Trump & Co took to bullying a lone defender. How brave of them! (NOT!)

Funny piece. (Ironically.) Agree about Trump and language not being friends. And that he's a jackass and what he did to Z was wrong and absurd. But also: The ending of your piece is, in my view, a little dramatic. We're going to be alright. Don't get me wrong: It's going to be a bumpy f_cking ride!!! But we'll make it. I have faith in the Supreme Court (believe it or not) and the institutions we have.

Pride is one of the 7 deadly sins

The support of a nation such as Ukraine which has a history of fascism and active Nazis in the military structure is, hmm, possibly somewhat troubling?

Yes, the world is very gray, indeed.

Would that it were black and white, making all our moral decisions easier.

I'd prefer to gamble on a country with a history of fascism and active Nazis in the military structure rather a country with current fascism and active Nazis in the military structure.

Hmm, I rather like that choice, which is no choice in a moral sense.
